NEW PRIUS ALLOCATION AT DAVID MAUS TOYOTA DRAWS CROWDS
The most revolutionary hybrid vehicle in the United States, the Toyota Prius, has become one of the most sought after fuel-efficient vehicles at David Maus Toyota and has caused the dealership to enforce a Prius Sales Lottery Process in effect for the upcoming allocation of new Prius’ on Thursday, June 19th.
When:
Thursday, June 19, 2008 – 6:30AM – 9:00AM
Where:
David Maus Toyota (1160 Rinehart Road, Sanford, FL)
Lottery Process:
- Beginning promptly at 6:30am, each customer over the age of 18 will register and receive a lottery number.
- Lottery numbers will no longer be issued after 7:20am.
- Lottery numbers will be drawn at random, one for each Prius available for purchase, promptly at 7:30am.
- Any customer who does not win a Prius purchase opportunity will be added by random draw order to a waiting list.
Due to the high demand, all Prius sales at David Maus Toyota on allocation day have become lottery based. Following last week’s lines of customers, the new lottery system is the first time the dealership has put this type of process into effect to help alleviate customers from waiting out front the dealership starting at early morning hours.

DAVID MAUS TOYOTA DONATES TO APOPKA RELAY FOR LIFE – DAVID MAUS TO SPEAK AT EVENT
Apopka– Due to a donation made by David Maus Toyota to the Apopka Relay for Life through the fundraising efforts of Jane Hobson and her team of volunteers, David Maus will be speaking at the April 11th event on the importance of supporting Relay for Life in order to remember those who have been lost and to find a cure for cancer.

Relay For Life is a fun-filled event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs in your community through the American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people will take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.
The Apopka Relay For Life will begin at 6:00pm at Wekiva High School with opening ceremonies. The Star Spangled Banner and invocation will be followed by introductions of dignitaries, the committee, the team captains, and sponsors. David Maus will speak during this time about his involvement in Relay for Life through Jane Hobson and her fundraising events she holds annually.
After the names of all the survivors are announced, they will take the first lap around the track and the caregivers will take the second lap, following the “Relayers” who will begin their 18-hour Relay. Throughout the event there will be entertainment, a silent auction, and activities at every camp site around the track. The Luminary Ceremony begins at 9:00pm and is an inspiring service remembering those we have lost, celebrating those who have survived and joining together to fight back against cancer. The ceremony will last approximately 20 minutes.
